The shorter the distances, the fresher the products. Chef Richard Hessl obtains 80% of the food from within a radius of 70 kilometers. Fish from the Wörthersee. Wagyu beef from the Lavanttal. Bread from the local bakery. Vegetables from local fields. All ripe and full of flavor.

True Carinthians from the Lindlhof farm. Our Lavant Valley free-range geese are raised on the sunny southern slopes of the Saualpe, grazing on lush mountain meadows filled with fresh grasses, flowers and herbs. They enjoy daily outdoor access, fresh straw and GMO-free grain from the region. Raised to strict quality standards, they deliver a quality you can taste: delicate, tender and full of flavour.

Guests can look forward to exquisite creations from the culinary team at the gourmet restaurant La Terrasse during the following opening hours:
Kitchen from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

A special Christmas celebration deserves a special setting. At La Terrasse, elegant ambience meets exquisite cuisine, with a selection of menus to suit every taste and occasion – from a delicate 3-course menu starting at €65.00 and a vegetarian option to an exquisite 6-course menu.
CHRISTMAS EVE AT LA TERRASSE
Celebrate Christmas in the beautifully decorated Schloss Seefels. Get into the festive spirit with an aperitif and be enchanted by harp melodies, heartwarming stories, and poetry. Richard Hessl and his team infuse the magic of Christmas into an exquisite 5-course menu. Price: €135, excl. drinks – starting at 5:30 PM.

In summer, Seefels guests can dine on what is probably the most beautiful lakeside terrace in Austria. In the cooler seasons, the colors bordeaux, chamois, pink, and terracotta, which adorn the restaurant, create a reserved elegance and give full attention to a very special gem, the wine climate room with 700 bottles of red wine, white wine, and Champagne.

3 Gault Millau toques, 4 Falstaff forks, and 3 Slow Food Carinthian snails say everything about the excellent and consistent quality. Hotel guests can order à la carte, a 4-course menu of the day, or put together their own menu of their choice from our à la carte menu.
