Each year shortly before Christmas, Schloss Seefels presents a donation to a charitable organization. The donation is earned during the summer season in the 2 Seefels restaurants by ordering tap water. With this donation, the luxurious 5-star hideaway on the Wörthersee, which is part of Boutiquehotels.travel, shows that health and drinking water can't be taken for granted. 

HEALTH AND WATER ARE ESSENTIAL 

"Only when we no longer have something do we realize what we had in the first place", says Barbara Soffritti from Schloss Seefels, and by this, she means health and drinking water. Both are of great value and can't be taken for granted. There is a good reason why tap water in the Seefels restaurants is on the drinks menu and sold at a price of  € 2 per carafe: the entire proceeds from this sale benefit a charitable organization. In 2021, the donation went to Carinthia's children's cancer charity and to Carinthians in need last year. In 2022, the proceeds from the sale of tap water were donated to the "Ö3 Weihnachtswunder". "It is a good feeling to do something good and give back to those in need", says Florian Scheichenbauer.
