Advent on the Wörthersee

Sparkling sea of lights on the lake

On the lake, in Porto Bello, in the Schloss garden, on the terraces, in the hotel, and in the unique, heated lake pool, fantastic light installations immerse the 3-hectare area on the shores of the Wörthersee in a romantic atmosphere. An impressive tunnel of light leads you to Advent on the lake. Beach chairs – on the Porto Bello terraces – invite you to snuggle and relax by the fire pits while enjoying hot chestnuts, roasted almonds, mulled wine, and punch. These are the classics that give off a festive Christmas scent. These treats are complemented at the punch stand by delicacies such as Champagne and caviar-truffle tarte flambée, bread and Wagyu beef drippings, mini smoked sausages, and crêpes with nougat cream. All this is topped off by something extravagant: ice stock right on the dock under the guidance of the local ice stock master, photos under the heart-decorated tree, and swimming in the 28-degree heated lake pool. Endless amazement is guaranteed during this tranquil Advent on the lake, and you can smoke one of the fine cigars on the terrace.
